Fur has always been a huge part of the fashion industry. When we see a gorgeous staple piece such as a fur coat or vest, we automatically think glamour, luxury and elegance. It can turn the most simplest of outfits into an extraordinary work of art.
Faux fur was introduced in the 1920s and slowly started being utilized in the fashion world in the 1950s. Up until recently, people thought that the real deal was the only way to go, until media started showing us the truth on how these furs were really made. So many were blinded by the cruelty of obtaining their beloved furs up until recently.
With modern day crusaders taking a stand on animal cruelty and the advanced technology and techniques, that has turned these faux fur pieces into the identical qualities, as that of a real fur, there are no reasons to go back to the past. There's a reason that things are left in the past, because they no longer serve us and there are always new and better ways.
World famous designers are on board with these fundamental ideals such as Stella McCartney, who vows to never use real fur in her collections. We join the crusade for animal loving, cruelty fashion that looks just as good, if not better than the real deal.
Animals are our friends, not our fashion, so stay warm and feel good about it!
